SENSA’s modular solution intended to increase the safety and reliability levels of the operative processes present in the serviced facilities of refineries, crude oil and gas processing centers, petrochemical plants, and those related to products management and sales, such as warehousing terminals and distribution centers
The instrumented security system consists of 2 main sub-systems:
1) Supervisory Control Sub-system
2) Local Control Sub-systems for Gas and Fire Sub-systems
Provides the interface between user and system and is composed of the computing equipment and the monitoring and control software, which enables to maintain the safety of the facilities at reliable operating levels using specific screens. A set of libraries suited for alarm and fire suppression systems enables the creation of specific interfaces according to the facilities.
Modern and powerful industrial computers and programmable logic processors with intrinsic security levels SIL2 or SIL3, enable the configuration of specific control loops based on the monitoring variables distributed along the facilities. Data generated by this sub-system is sent to the supervisory control sub-system to monitor the facilities from the control center.
