Provides a modular solution to satisfy process control needs of refineries, crude oil and gas processing centers, petrochemical plants, and pipelines, as well as of those related to product management and sales, such as warehousing terminals and distribution centers.
The monitoring and control digital system consists of 3 main sub-systems:
1) Supervisory Control Sub-system
2) Local Control Sub-systems
The interface between user and system is established with this sub-system, which is composed of the computing equipment and the control software that enables the monitoring and control of the process functional blocks using specific screens.
Modern and powerful industrial computers and programmable logic processors enable the configuration of specific control loops which govern the vital system of the operation in-site based on signals from equipment and instruments in the field. Data generated by the local control sub-system is sent to the supervisory control sub-system for its interpretation by the operators.
3) Communications Sub-system
Includes switches, routers, radio or satellite equipment as possible alternatives to integrate, from minimum systems to systems with complex topologies.
A set of communications protocols, such as HART, MODBUS RTU, MODBUS PEMEX, adequately complement the technical requirements of these solutions.
In order to complement the needs at the serviced centers, SENSA has a set of sub-systems for in-field application that include the proper interfaces to communicate with the monitoring and control digital system:
